Taking Care of Business

Today i took care of Amari while his Mommy went to work ...we had a very busy day ..it was a constant NO NO NO don't touch that !!! he takes a lot of energy i am exhausted from running after him...however that being said and done i love being able to care of him...First thing in the morning at breakfast he threw the porridge bowl to the floor i sort of caught it so at least the bowl didn't break i yelled NO and Rob was eating his b4 he left for school and said is that all u are going to do ?? like what else can u do except yell ?? Later on at supper we were eating what else other then leftover TURKEY from STEINBACH except i made the meat into TACO's i was feeding Amari his supper and he threw the bowl onto the floor but again i managed to catch it and hardly none fell to the floor but this time i was much more harsh i grabbed his hands and that shocked him ...however he tried or almost tried to throw the bowl to the floor but he looked at me and decided better not and held back but smiled at me ...the little rascal ...he is so adorable u just cant be angry with him more than a second ...he has managed to break 2 of Rob's XBOX headsets ...my $250. flip cellular phone and we have caught him in the act with other breakable things but managed to catch it b4 it hit the floor ...his nickname is Phone Smasher amongst others ....anyways i wouldn't pass up the opportunity to be a part of his growing up years they are just too precious and far too short ...time passes so quickly ..i look forward to the day when Rob is married with a family and i can be a part of his extended family unit ...I have a ache in my spirit of not being involved with my own daughters lives so i hold and treasure what i have today with Amari and the coming of Rob's one day...we went for a walk to the corner store checked out our lottery tickets we won TEN dollars and walked back ...it was starting to mist over and u could feel the rain coming so we hurried back ...i fed Amari his snack and he took a very short nap 15-20 minutes ...the day went very fast and i am pooped ..i am looking forward to getting back to my own shedule of work tomorrow !!
